Approach
Deep Dives into Topics
With ample time allotted to explore each new topic, we start by helping students establish foundational knowledge and then provide them with scaffolding to pursue lines of inquiry and generate new insights.
Hands-On Construction
Hands-on construction projects harness children’s sense of play, unleashing their creativity and problem-solving skills.
Real-World Application
Theme-based projects and activities ask students to apply their learning to real-world questions – stimulating their curiosity, activating critical thinking, and making abstract concepts relatable.
Guided Reflection
By pausing to engage in formal reflection activities, students develop greater self-awareness and are better able to convert new information and experiences into lasting knowledge.
Like solar energy, a child’s sense of play and desire to move are abundant, often-overlooked “natural resources”. Rather than try to suppress these instincts, we channel them to amplify learning.

Every student we meet is wonderfully unique.
And we give careful consideration to the ways in which each student may benefit from and contribute to our program.

It is our job to get to know you and your student and to give you ample opportunity to get to know us. Ask us questions. Tell us what matters to you. What works? What doesn’t work? What do you wish for your student? And what do you wish for yourself in a school community?

Don’t worry…this is not going to be stressful.
The application form is pretty straightforward. It gets you into the application pipeline and gives us a first introduction to your student. Also, you don’t have to finish it in one sitting. You can click to start it right now, save it, and then finish it later when you have time.
Once we have your application, we will:
- Schedule a meeting with you to discuss your student in depth and learn what you’re seeking in a school environment
- Collect feedback from your student’s current teacher and previous school records (if applicable)
- Schedule your student for a visit
- Students may also complete an in-person or virtual assessment.
- Once your file is complete, we will: Review your student’s qualifications, assessing developmental readiness, academic potential, and achievement.
FAQs
Class Sizes
Our enrollment and staffing model allows us to maintain small classes with an average of 7-8 students per grade. In addition, this structure also provides our teachers with adequate time each week for lesson planning, student assessment, and professional development activities.

- Grade 1: 6 years old by Aug 31
- Grade 2: 7 years old by Aug 31
Tuition
Tuition: $29,000 / year
Payment plans are available. Also, please note that tuition is inclusive. No additional fees are billed for any school-hour activities, materials, or required trips. (Before and after- school hours are extra.)

Other Grades
- For the 2024-25 school year, we will offer enrollment for Grades 1 and 2.
- We will expand to offer Grade 3 starting with the 2025-26 school year.
- We will expand to offer Kindergarten starting with the 2026-27 school year.
Deadlines
For the 2024-25 school year, we will accept applications and issue admission decisions on a rolling basis.
